happy new year! what better way to start out the new year than with a class chalet at aranda.
1st day spent slacking inside the chalet playing bridge and daidee. luckily there was only 1 controller to the ps2. cant imagine the chaos if there were 2. bbq failed as it rained shortly after starting the fire. so ended up postponing it to the second day. truth or dare the whole night, with some of the dares pretty much.. comical haha and truths rather awkward to say. luckily mine was super easy to answer.
2nd day rented bicycles and rode around pasir ris park thanks to miscommunition. wanted to ride further to tampines but it rained again. but oh wells, we decided to have our bbq at our balcony. food was nice but limited. but we had a smoky living room soon after. went night time cycling to changi village with a 15man strong bicycle chain, which looked kinda impressive. we rode all the way to changi airport and watched planes land and take off. kinda cool cos i've never been there before haha. the symbol for korea airlines look like pepsi airlines la! butt, leg and palm ache from all the cycling.
3rd day class went to watch blood diamond after checking out. the show was great and meaningful, kinda touching at some parts too. but if the guy made the speech at the end, i think it would be even more impactful. met up at weelocks place to have sakae sushi for lunch. mans service and food at suki sushi is very much better. the chowamushi takes uber long to be served, though its much better than in suki. but they changed the way of ordering in the table computers, such that it prevents accidental additional clicking, which i sure boss have a very good experience about =p
adult fare! wah i'm gonna faint soon. $1.85 to get to pasir ris from bukit batok. wah i can take 3 rides of student fare bus rides.
